VA Travel Nurse Corps

What if you could have all the adventure of being a travel nurse without the stress of relearning "the ropes" with each new assignment? Become a VA Travel Nurse, and that's just what you'll get.

VA's new Travel Nurse Corps (TNC) is actively recruiting qualified nurses across the Nation. When you join, you'll receive orientation and training to learn how things work at VA. Since our technologies and policies are nationwide, your new knowledgebase will apply everywhere you go, with minor adjustments for each site.

You'll earn a salary and per diem benefits that are competitive with travel nurses in the private sector. Plus, if you decide to settle into a single location, VA has plenty of permanent opportunities nationwide for its travel nurses. We are expecting to hire some 23,000 RNs through FY 2012, and your active, unrestricted license is applicable in every State and Puerto Rico (no re-licensing required).
