HAND TRUCKS AND CERTAIN PARTS THEREOF FROM CHINA THREATEN U.S. INDUSTRY, SAYS ITC

The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) today determined that a U.S. industry is threatened with material injury by reason of imports of hand trucks and certain parts thereof from China that the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value.

All six Commissioners voted in the affirmative.

As a result of the Commission's affirmative determination, the U.S. Department of Commerce will issue antidumping duty orders on imports of these products from China.

The Commission's public report Hand Trucks and Certain Parts Thereof from China (Investigation No. 731-TA-1059 (Final), USITC Publication 3737, November 2004) will contain the views of the Commission and information developed during the investigation.
