Incentives to Practice in New Mexico

New Mexico offers a variety of opportunities for stipend, loan for service and loan repayment programs. All of the programs are competitive and require applications to be completed.

The New Mexico Department of Health administers the New Mexico Health Service Corps stipend and community contracts programs. The New Mexico Department of Higher Education offers a range of health professional loan for service and loan repayment programs, a list of which which is available on the HED Web site.
