Seven Reasons Why You Should Practice In Wyoming

1

This is Wyoming!

The Wild West. Three hundred days of sunshine. Home of Yellowstone, pronghorn antelope, the Grand Tetons, the Black Hills and Devil’s Tower. It’s where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. The sacred land of the Arapaho, Shoshone and Crow Indians and the movie set for Shane, Dances with Wolves and Close Encounters. If these images are giving you a warm feeling…If you can see yourself riding off into the sunset…If you are looking for a change…You should take a close look at Wyoming.

2

Income Opportunities

Wyoming has no state income tax and little to no managed healthcare. Home prices are still affordable and the cost of living is easy on the pocketbook. You can take your family snow skiing or jet skiing without taking an expensive vacation. Bottom line: More of your hard-earned income stays in your pocket.

3

Cultural Life

The cultural life is alive and well in the Cowboy State. We host music festivals in magical mountainside settings and world-class productions in historic theatres. Our rodeos are a way of life and the Powwows are a central part of our state’s cultural calendar. We are home to one of the world’s great orchestras, the Festival Orchestra, and our Mountain Man Rendezvous is legendary. We have historic sites, historic trails, and areas where you can dig your own fossils.

4

Family Life

Wyoming is a great place to raise a family. We have excellent educational opportunities including seven community colleges and the University of Wyoming with more than 180 programs of study and a world-class research facility. This is classic small-town America where you know your neighbor, there are no traffic jams and locals wave whether they know you or not. It’s where pickup trucks share downtown parking spaces with BMWs. It’s a great way of life.

5

Sportsman’s Paradise

Don’t take our word for it. Outdoor Life magazine (April 2008) listed two of our towns (Sheridan and Cody) as the 3rd and 4th Best Towns in America for hunters and fishermen to call home. Casper also placed #21 and Gillette placed #38 on their list of 200. Our towns offer the sportsman world-class hunting and fishing and easy access to public land and water. Our state is abundant with elk, deer, pronghorns and 22 species of game fish. According to Outdoor Life, “This is the West at its accessible best.” But we could have told you that.

6

Loan Repayment Program

We love our healthcare professionals and we show it by offering a program to help you pay your student loan. The intent of the repayment program is to enhance the healthcare of medically underserved areas of Wyoming. The program repays qualifying applicants for costs of eligible educational loans in return for a commitment to practice in an underserved area in Wyoming. WHRN has all the details. Contact us and we will help you qualify.
