Mission
The North Dakota Rural Health Association’s mission is to bring together diverse interests and provide a unified voice to promote and enhance the quality of rural health through leadership, advocacy, coalition building, education and communication.

Vission
The North Dakota Rural Health Association’s vision is to be an effective advocate for improved health status of rural North Dakotans.

Goals

  • To identify the healthcare needs of rural North Dakota
  • To promote public awareness and understanding of North Dakota’s rural health care problems
  • To provide a forum for the exchange and distribution of ideas, information, and research for the improvement of rural health care
  • To develop and promote solutions to rural health care challenges at a local, state, and national level
  • To encourage research and analysis of the rural health system in North Dakota
  • To work collaboratively with rural and urban partners to strengthen rural healthcare in North Dakota
  • To support professional health education programs that focus on enhancing and improving the healthcare of rural North Dakotans
  • To serve as a link between Association members, consumers, providers, professionals, public officials and others interested in improving rural health care
  • To promote the maintenance and economic well being of North Dakota’s rural health infrastructure.
