Mission
The Scientific Systems Core Facility (SSCF) provides computer support for the research, clinical, and administrative staff in the Division of Intramural Research (DIR). In order to perform this mission, the SSCF provides for networking of the DIR's computers; maintains network servers to provide file and print services; operates a user facility which contains both Macs and PCs, high quality printers, a film recorder, and other devices as needed; provides specialized software development for the staff including database development and web applications; provides specialized training in the usage of DIR computer facilities; and provides ongoing consultations to the DIR staff on a variety of computer related topics.
