The goal of the Website is to provide Native communities with the tools and information to create, or adapt to, their own suicide prevention programs.

The Child Abuse Project is a coordinated effort between two government agencies (Office for Victims of Crime and Indian Health Service) to provide equipment, training, and resources to medical providers within the Indian Health Service and Tribal programs on the medical evaluation of child abuse.

    The purpose of the National Council of Chief Executive Officers (NCCEO) is to ensure that Indian Health Service (IHS) service unit chief executive officers (CEO) and their Tribal CEO counterparts effectively participate in the establishment and implementation of an Agency strategy to achieve the IHS mission.

    Item 25 National Supply Service Center
    The purpose of this site is to provide general and advanced information to federal, tribal, and urban facilities who purchase medical supplies or pharmaceuticals from any source around the country. We will also utilize the site to make available the NSSC to these facilities since we are the national program for the agency and are responsible for these services. In addition the site will provide a central link location for the growing list of prime vendors the NSSC has secured for the facilities which will provide quick access to ordering, vendor information, and alerts.

    Item 26 Office of Tribal Programs (OTP)
    OTP is responsible for functions that are critical to the IHS' relationships with tribal leaders, organizations, and other American Indian and Alaska Native groups. OTP is the Agency's principal liaison with Indian organizations and more than 562 federally recognized tribes. OTP is a national program providing information, technical assistance, and policy coordination in support of Indian self-determination. OTP is the primary focal point for Title I, Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act activities and implementation and direct service tribes.
