Item 4 Freedom of Information Act [FOIA]
Provides you with the basic information you need to submit a request under the Freedom of Information Act, for records held by the Indian Health Service.

Item 5 Indian Health Manual [IHM]
Permanent policies, procedures, and operating standards unique to the IHS administrative and program operations. In addition to the IHM chapters, the IHS Circular format is used to issue temporary IHS operating policy. Special General Memoranda (SGM) are used to interpret or reiterate existing IHS policy that requires special attention by IHS employees.
