About the LANL Undergraduate Student Program

Internships

Staff at Los Alamos National Laboratory recognize that in order to maintain and cultivate a well-educated workforce, we must provide a quality learning environment for all students. The objective is to provide an opportunity to explore a variety of technical and non-technical career fields.

Internship programs are administered through the Education Program Office (STB/EPO).

Internship programs strive to provide opportunities that provide meaningful work experiences while incorporating education and training activiies.

Students have an opportunity to contribute to the Laboratory’s mission while working with state-of-the-art equipment and instruments.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Provide documentation of acceptance into an undergraduate academic program,
  • Enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester in an accredited college or university degree program, and
  • Initially have and maintain a cumulative 2.8/4.0 GPA
