Photo of Michael Dellarco, Dr PHDr. Dellarco is an environmental health scientist at the National Children’s Study where he serves as the coordinator for environmental monitoring leading the design and development of environmental measurements for application in the Study, and as project officer for the Texas, Washington, and Waukesha Study Centers. Prior to coming to the Study he conducted exposure and risk assessment research at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Center for Environmental Assessment and the Agency’s Risk Assessment Forum. His specific research interests are in the areas of biomonitoring, dermal exposure, and exposure factors classification. He is a founding member and past president of the International Society of Exposure Analysis (ISEA) and a member of the Society for Risk Analysis. He received his doctorate in environmental health science at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Heath in the Kellogg Program under the direction of Dr. Morton Corn.
