Mr. Briggs is a contractor working in the National Children’s Study Program Office as a Human Subjects and Data Confidentiality Specialist, as well as providing support as an Invoicing Specialist with the Contracts Management System, a system utilized by the Program Office to track financial documents over the life of the National Children’s Study. In the capacity of Human Subjects and Data Confidentiality Specialist, Mr. Briggs works to aid the study in compliance efforts with requirements of the Office of Management and Budget and various Institutional Review Boards. As Invoicing Specialist, Mr. Briggs tracks and troubleshoots contracts and invoicing communication between the Program Office and Study Centers. Mr. Briggs has previous professional experience working with the Office of Head Start, and subsequently as a member of a federal task force on Native American children’s affairs. Mr. Briggs has a BA in Political Science and Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
