Programs and Services
Provides funding to small rural hospitals to help pay for costs related to implementation of PPS, comply with provisions of HIPAA, and reduce medical errors and support quality improvement.
Rural Health Clinics (RHC) are located in areas designated by the Bureau of the Census as rural AND by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services or the state as medically underserved.
Allows states to strengthen rural health care through a holistic approach.
Improves access to primary health and dental care in qualifying rural Idaho communities.

Not-for-profit, federally funded providers of health care.
Collecting data and submitting federal applications to support HPSA designations.

The Primary Care Office offers technical assistance and access to resources through partnerships to support recruitment and retention efforts for health professionals.
Free Medical Clinics may register with the State of Idaho through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
