looks at the impact of HIV/AIDS on deaf and hard of hearing
individuals and the barriers they face in accessing health care.
The newsletter, published monthly by HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau,
also looks at:
- technical assistance for Ryan White CARE Act grantees
and planning bodies;
- treatment-related resources for providers and patients;
and
- a calendar of HIV-related events.
HAB administers the CARE Act that provides funds for primary
care and support services for medically underserved individuals
and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
