| Experts will discuss highlights from the recent Eighth
Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections
in a March 29 satellite broadcast produced by HRSA's HIV/AIDS
Bureau.
The videoconference, which airs between 1 and 3 p.m. EST,
will explore topics such as:
- antiretroviral therapy;
- virology and immunology;
- clinical pharmacology; and
- epidemiology and infection control.
The telecast is sponsored by HAB, which administers the Ryan
White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency Act. Each year,
the CARE Act funds primary health care and support services
for more than 500,000 low-income, uninsured individuals and
their families affected by HIV/AIDS.
