Program Description
The purpose of the Special Improvement Project grant is to provide
funding for projects that further the national child support mission and
goals. This mission aims to help children receive financial and medical
support as well as improve program performance.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you, your spouse,
parents or children must receive or be eligible to receive Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or you must be a parent or primary
caregiver in need of help collecting child support, assistance paying for
child care, or help ensuring your child is not separated from your
home.
