Houston Health Services Researcher Receives Educator Award

Dr. Paul M. Haidet, a health services researcher at the Houston VA Medical Center received the 2003 Society of General Internal Medicine’s Clinician Educator of the Year Award for the Southern region, which comprises 13 states.  

Dr. Haidet is a graduate of Penn State, Hershey and Harvard School of Public Health.  He is a general internist and a clinician researcher and educator.  His research interests focus on the patient-doctor relationship, communication and educational dynamics in medical education.
