Rebecca Spitzgo

 

Rebecca Spitzgo is the new associate administrator in OFAM. She previously held the position of associate administrator in HRSA’s Office of Performance Review. Spitzgo has more than 30 years of Federal experience in grants management, system development, and project management with HHS and with the U.S. Department of Education. Prior to joining HRSA, she held the position of the Grants.gov program manager for the government-wide Grants.gov Presidential management initiative.

Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities (OMHHD)


Jay Anderson

 

Jay Anderson is now HRSA’s chief dental officer and is assigned to OMHHD. Anderson previously served as the acting chief dental officer for HRSA while he retained his duties as the chief dental officer in HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care. As HRSA’s chief dental officer, Anderson will serve as principal dental consultant for all HRSA oral health programs; assist in coordinating oral health activities within HRSA; and provide advice to HRSA’s administrator on all matters concerning oral health.

Karen Ciambruschini

 

Karen Ciambruschini is now the lead administrative officer for the Program Business Services Team in OM’s Division of Management Services. Ciambruschini has served for over 15 years in DMS, which was previously under the former Office of Management and Program Support. Prior to that, she worked in OMPS’s Division of Personnel.

Office of Financial Management (OFM)


Carolyn Taylor

 

Carolyn Taylor is now a lead contract specialist in the General Acquisitions Branch of OFM’s Division of Procurement Management. Taylor previously served as a contract specialist in DPM since entering HRSA in 2001 as part of the HRSA Scholars Program. Taylor has prior experience as a consultant and as a senior regulatory specialist in the private sector.

Daniel Matusiewicz

 

Daniel Matusiewicz is a new lead contract specialist in the Contract Operations Branch of OFM’s Division of Procurement Management. Matusiewicz has served as a contract specialist in DPM since entering HRSA in 2004 as a part of the HRSA Scholars Program.

Office of Information Technology (OIT)


Doug Burgess

 

Doug Burgess is now the incident response and security policy team leader in OIT’s Office of the Director. Burgess helps resolve problems with computer systems. Previously, Burgess served as a senior watch officer at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Cyber Security Incident Response Center in Leesburg, Virginia.

Healthcare Systems Bureau (HSB)


Rebeca Sanchez-Barrett

 

Rebeca Sanchez-Barrett is now a public health analyst in HSB’s Office of the Associate Administrator, Poison Control Program. Previously, Sanchez-Barrett served as a public health analyst in the Data and Information Strategy Group within the same office. Sanchez-Barrett joined HRSA in 2006 as part of the HRSA Scholars Program.

Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB)


Anne Leitch

 

Anne Leitch has joined HRSA as the new staff assistant for the associate administrator in MCHB. Leitch previously served as a management analyst in the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Office of Management Programs.
