SUBJECT: Ethics Workshops
The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) will conduct
identical 4-hour ethics workshops on the following dates:
June 7, 8, 9 Memphis, TN
June 27, 28 Washington, DC
July 21, 22 Washington, DC
The workshop is designed for ethics officials already familiar
with the standards of conduct and conflict of interest statutes.
Hands-on exercises challenge participants to analyze the standards
of conduct provisions and conflict of interest statutory elements.
Class size is limited to 40 participants.
The workshop is free to each agency. However, advance
registration is required. Each person planning to attend MUST
register by transmitting a facsimile of a completed registration
form to OGE at least two weeks prior to the scheduled workshop.
Registration will be handled on a first come basis. NO TELEPHONE
REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Registration forms are attached.

OGE will confirm each person's registration by facsimile at
least two weeks prior to the date of the course. Due to the volume
of registrations, we ask that registrants NOT follow-up on

your ethics officials in the appropriate areas as soon as possible.

Please note that this training is open ONLY to agency
officials who have (or will have) Government ethics
responsibilities; it is NOT to be used by agencies in fulfilling
their annual training requirements for employees.
