The San Diego American Indian Health Center (SDAIHC) is a private, nonprofit corporation established in 1979 to provide services to Native Americans living in the San Diego area.

Although our emphasis is the urban American Indian population, the San Diego American Indian Health Center is open to everyone regardless of race, color, gender, age, ancestry, mental and physical abilities, religion, socio-economic status, sexual orientation and national origin. All verified Native Americans are eligible for care regardless of residency or tribal affiliation.

About Us

The Center's services have been expanded to cover all people in need who qualify for government assistance while maintaining a focus on the Native American population.
We have the following California licensed, certified or registered providers at our health center:

  3. HIV Testing and Counseling
  4. HIV Case Manager
  5. Licensed/Registered Therapists (LCSW, MFT, Psychologist)
  6. Dentist
  7. Nutritionist
The Center offers individualized services of the highest quality. Our providers strive to have an understanding and appreciation for the unique cultural needs of Native Americans.
