British Library
This Website for the national library of the United Kingdom contains comprehensive information about the Library, the scope of its collections, how to use its services, a range of catalogs for different types of material, thousands of images and sound recordings. The Library’s Digital Catalogue of Illuminated Manuscripts allows the user to find and view descriptions and images of items in its collection of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts.
COPAC
Online union catalog formed by merging the online library catalogs of members of the Consortium of University Research Libraries (CURL), plus a few other specialist databases and collections. The CURL libraries currently contributing their catalog to COPAC include the British Library and National Library of Scotland.
National Library of Scotland
The National Library of Scotland, which has UK legal deposit (copyright) status, is Scotland's largest library and a major center for the study of Scotland. This site provides access to the Library’s catalogs, including the main catalogs and several catalogs for manuscripts, electronic resources, and other materials.
National Library of Wales
The website of the National Library of Wales, which has UK legal deposit (copyright) status, offers the user direct access to several catalogs and online resources for searching the various collections, including the main catalog. In English and Welsh.
