A listing of Swedish portals and Web sites that provide links to resources relating to education. Extensive lists of colleges and universities are available through such portals such as BRAINTRACK which links to universities; and General Education Online. The University of Oulu, in Finland, provides a listing of the Best Indices of Colleges and Universities World-wide.

The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, produces the ERIC database, which contains more than 1.2 million citations going back to 1966. More than 110,000 full-text non-journal documents (issued 1993-present) are available in .pdf format.

Responsible for matters relating to schools, universities and colleges, and research. Describes the various offices under its authority as well as budget and objectives. Searchable. In Swedish; partially in English.

Skolverket (http://www.skolverket.se/sb/d/190)
The National Agency for Education oversees the quality and the development of the Swedish school system. Includes links to information about the agency, the Swedish school system, statistics, publications, and more. Searchable. In Swedish; partially in English.
