House SCHIP Bill Would Provide Health Insurance to 4.1 Million Uninsured Children

By 2013, 4.1 million children who would otherwise be uninsured would have health care coverage under children’s health insurance legislation that the House is scheduled to consider today.  About 3.4 million of the 4.1 million children who would gain coverage are children who are already eligible under their states' current eligibility limits but remain uninsured.  Read more
