As vice president of the Transportation Portfolio Management Division (TPMD), Michele Dixey oversees the monitoring of the Bank’s portfolio of transportation transactions.

Before joining Ex-Im Bank in 2006, Dixey was Vice President of Business Consulting at Morten Beyer & Agnew, an international aviation consulting firm, where she was responsible for assessing airline financial viability and debt capacity, performing aviation asset valuations, and leading financial restructurings on behalf of creditors for the recovery and disposition of defaulted assets.

From 1998 to 2004, Dixey worked in corporate finance at US Airways, where she raised more than $3 billion in capital to finance the acquisition and operation of aircraft, participated in both in and out of court corporate restructurings, and negotiated debtor-in-possession financings. Dixey has also worked for Newcourt Capital providing financial advisory services for aviation clients, and in the Treasury Department at United Airlines.

Dixey has a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Finance concentration from Purdue University.
