HIV/Hepatitis QUERI

The role of the QUERI-HIV and its Coordinating Centers is to translate research into approaches to improve patient care and systems efficiency and to document the effects of these mechanisms on patients and on cost.

The HIV-QUERI EC's highest priority is to identify, understand, and minimize deficiencies in the care of HIV-infected veterans cared for by the VHA. Obtaining timely, accurate, and usable information on care and outcomes is the essential foundation for designing and implementing the feed back strategies and other interventions that will be the heart of the HIV-QUERI effort.
