Abstract:

Services include specialty services and care coordination for children with complex medical conditions. Efforts are targeted toward identifying eligible children with disabilities and their needs, then offering them the full range of services available to ameliorate the disability. Services are provided to children with diverse medical conditions throughout the State. Genetics services include primary, secondary and tertiary prevention services intended to prevent disability and to ameliorate existing disability from genetic diseases and birth defects.
