Federal Preparations for Ike

WASHINGTON - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) along with the US Department of Health and Human Services will hold a media teleconference today to discuss federal preparations for Hurricane Ike. FEMA will also uplink b-roll footage of the Region IV Regional Response Coordination Center (RRCC) in Atlanta, Georgia as well as a FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team staging and checking their equipment for a possible response to Hurricane Ike.
