FEMA Registration Helpline Hours To Change

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Starting this week, the Federal Emergency Management Agency registration Helpline will be open weekdays only.

Anyone who has suffered disaster-related property damages from the May tornadoes should register for FEMA assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Online, registration is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at www.fema.gov.

Additionally, the agency announced the registration Helpline would be closed for the Friday, July 4 holiday, and re-open on Monday, July 7.

FEMA coordinates the federal government’s role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
