Job Description
NIH Pharmacists provide a comprehensive range of clinical pharmacy services including serving as consultants and providing clinical teaching activities and independently designing and conducting clinical research within a specialty area of clinical practices. Major duties of this position include serving as authoritative consultant with direct interaction and communication with patients; independently interfacing with physicians in the design of drug treatment plans; and monitoring drug therapy to assure proper drug therapy; as well as designing drug regimens utilizing current pharmacokinetic principles and specific patient parameters.
