The Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents is available:
- As an electronic publication, free of charge, on the GPO Access Service, maintained by the U.S. Government Printing Office
- As a paper publication, by subscription or individual copy purchase from the Superintendent of Documents, or at any Federal Depository Library
The Office of the Federal Register (OFR) publishes the Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents every Monday, as the official publication of Presidential statements, messages, remarks, and other materials released by the White House Press Secretary.
The Weekly Compilation serves not only as a source for the full text of first person Presidential documents, but also rounds out the picture of Presidential activities with a Digest of Other White House Announcements, Listing of Nominations Submitted to the Senate, Checklist of Other White House Press Releases, and Acts Approved by the President.
OFR editors prepare subject, name, and document category indexes to this material, and issue these quarterly, semiannually, and annually under separate cover.
