Purpose

RATIONALE: Comparing the accuracy of two devices that measure physical activity in healthy participants may help in future studies of the benefits of exercise.

PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying two devices for measuring physical activity in healthy participants.

Detailed Description:

OBJECTIVES:

Compare the efficacy of measuring physical activity in healthy participants using the ActiGraph accelerometer model 7164 vs model GT1M.

OUTLINE: This is a longitudinal study.

Healthy participants wear both the ActiGraph model 7164 and model GT1M while walking or jogging for approximately 90 minutes. Information from both models is compared for accuracy.

Eligibility

Ages Eligible for Study:	18 Years to 74 Years
Genders Eligible for Study:	Both
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:	No

Criteria

DISEASE CHARACTERISTICS:

Healthy male and female participants

PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

Normal, overweight, or obese participants
