authorize your aors

Even though you have begun your Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) registration, your E-Business POC still must authorize you in order to verify that you have the authority to submit grant applications on behalf of your organization. This authorization protects an organization from individuals who may submit applications without permission.

The E-Business POC will receive an email regarding your AOR registration with links and instructions to complete the process. You will also be carbon-copied on this email. The authorization process is dependent on the E-Business POC logging in and providing authorization. Therefore, you may want to let your E-Business POC know that you are awaiting this authorization.

Your organization’s E-Business POC must login to Grants.gov, using your organization’s DUNS Number and  MPIN password (The MPIN is part of your organization’s CCR profile) to give you permission to submit applications. When your POC approves your request to become an AOR, Grants.gov will send you a confirmation email. AOR applicants can also login to Grants.gov to check AOR status.

Once authorized, you are now ready to apply for all federal grants.
