Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment Policy Statement

Director Connie L. Patrick

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) has a zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination.

Supervisors/managers are to report incidents of harassment immediately.  Employees are also encouraged to report harassment immediately to the appropriate official, i.e., the FLETC EEO Officer or a supervisor in the employee’s chain of command.  Students should report any incident to any of the sources listed above or to an Instructor, Program Technician, Program Specialist, the Program Manager for your training program or to your Agency Representative.

No acts of retaliation will be tolerated against any employee for making a good faith report of  harassment or for assisting in any inquiries about such a report. All information provided to the Agency Officials will be maintained on a confidential basis to the greatest extent possible.

As the Director of the FLETC, I am fully committed to maintaining a workforce free from discrimination in its employment policies, procedures, practices and operations.  I want to ensure that all employees are afforded an equal opportunity to compete on a fair and equitable basis.  Supervisors and managers are expected to take an active role in promoting and implementing the FLETC’s equal employment opportunity policy.

I challenge each employee to take responsibility for executing the EEO policy in your daily actions and conduct and to continue striving to ensure our workforce is free from all forms of discrimination.
