Fast Neutron-Induced Gamma-Ray ObserverThe FIGARO array was used to measure neutron-output spectra following neutron-induced fission for 235,238U. As part of our program to understand the effects of fission products in nuclear weapons, the neutron-output spectrum was measured following neutron interactions with the radioactive fission product 99Tc.
Most recently, experiments using FIGARO studied neutron-induced reactions for nuclear-level-density studies and neutron-induced fission and gas production in structured materials.
