Conservation Strategy Review
The 1997 Forest Plan established a comprehensive, science-based conservation strategy to address wildlife
sustainability and viability. This strategy was based on careful analysis and integration of the best
scientific information available at that time. The 1997 Forest Plan Record of Decision committed the Forest
Service to conduct an interagency review of the conservation strategy. A separate Website has been created
to support the Conservation Strategy Review.
