The Utah Mineral Occurrence Database System, UMOS, contains data from over 7900 economic mineral occurrences that were researched and mapped by employees of the United States Geological Survey and the Utah Geological Survey for almost 30 years. The references are keyed to map quadrangles, formation name, deposite type, site name, deposit name, county, commodity.
