The European Ozone Research Coordinating Unit (EORCU) was established at Cambridge in April 1989 and is based at the Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge.

EORCU's role has been to coordinate atmospheric research within Europe and to establish worldwide links within the global atmospheric science community by means of coordinating large scale field campaigns, organising conferences and workshops, maintaining a website, producing newsletters and brochures and managing a central office.

EORCU currently coordinates the EC funded SCOUT-O3 Integrated Project.
