Your Gateway to Health Based Information

Informatics - PDA's in the IHS

graphic of PDA devices Welcome to the home page for PDA's. The use of PDA's within the Indian Health Service (IHS) has been rapidly expanding - largely due to affordability of various devices and increased clinical and non-clinical applications. In response to this growing demand, the IHS Information Technology Support Center (ITSC) has initiated a number of PDA programs and has developed this web page that will serve as a central repository for information pertaining to the PDA and their use in the Indian Health Service.

Do you or your service unit utilize PDAs at work? Would you be interested in writing an article for the IHS Provider about your PDA usage and how it has impacted your job? If so, please contact Chris Lamer or Scott Hamstra. Thanks!
