Experts from DRI and UNLV gathered in Las Vegas during the Lake Mead Science Symposium, to discuss the economic and ecological impacts the quagga mussels are having on the lake.

NSHE and DRI receive $22M grant for climate change research in Nevada NSHE and DRI receive $22M grant for climate change research in Nevada  
The five year study will measure the climate change effects in Nevada and the Great Basin. NSHE and DRI scientists will conduct new research on regional ecology, water resources, climate patterns, and the impacts on decision making policies.
