Abstract:

This paper provides an overview of how rural health networks are using information technology (IT). It presents the findings from interviews conducted with 15 rural health network spokespersons and discusses how these rural health networks use grant funds to implement and expand information technology capabilities. The paper presents policy implications and includes interview methodology and telephone interview protocols.
