Ex-Im Bank and the Central Asia and Caucasus Regions Портал регионов Средней Азии и Кавказа Since the year 2000 Ex-Im Bank has authorized financing to support more than $1.6 billion in exports of U.S. goods and services to the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus in support of the transportation, oil & gas and agricultural sectors. This total also includes financing for more than $125 million of services exports to various sectors of these economies. Country specific information about Ex-Im Bank financing is published on Ex-Im Bank's web page in the Country Limitation Schedule (CLS). The expansion of Ex-Im Bank's business in the region has been most pronounced in Kazakhstan. Authorizations for Kazakhstan in fiscal 2000 totaled $1.39 million. During fiscal year 2004 this figure reached $102 million. The year-to-date figure for FY2005 is $132 million, with more than $40 million in pending final commitments.
