The Financial Systems Integration Office (FSIO) within the General Services Administration, was formerly known as the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) staff office. In December 2004, the JFMIP Principals voted to modify the roles and responsibilities of the JFMIP. As a result the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Chief Financial Officers (CFO) Council have worked closely with FSIO staff to update FSIO’s mission and scope of activities. FMLOB Receivable Management - The Receivable Management is the third chapter in a series of Federal Financial Management Standard Business Processes that establish the framework for consolidating and optimizing, financial accounting practices in the Federal Government to improve cost, quality, and performance government-wide.
