This newsletter discusses the significance of community development activities for Critical Access Hospitals (CAH). It provides surveys of State offices of rural health and discusses the role of CAH administrators. The newsletter includes examples of intra-community networking in CAH conversion communities visited by the CAH/FLEX Tracking Team.
