The Evaluation of FIMR Programs Nationwide: Early Findings

This fact sheet summarizes preliminary findings from cross-sectional, observational evaluation of Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) programs. It examines public health activities in communities with FIMR and other perinatal initiatives compared to non-FIMR communities and all localities nationally. The study found that FIMR programs and perinatal initiatives have important effects on public health activities.
