Indian Health Board-Mpls has the following new position located in Minneapolis, MN.

Community Health Manager

This full-time position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of community health operations of IHB and provide supervision to outreach, community health and case management positions.

Duties

1. Planning, developing and implementing methods/procedures to ensure program activities meet specific objectives.
2. Analyze and assess community needs to develop new programs and enhance the effectiveness of current programs.
3. Identify community organizations that share a common mission with IHB and establish a partnering relationship.
4. Develop and maintain current and culturally appropriate health education and outreach materials.
5. Assist with meeting regulatory standards regarding health education and participate in Quality Improvement activities.
6. Must be available to work some weekends/evenings

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, health education or related field plus 4 years of related experience with excellent verbal/written skills
2. Knowledge and experience with MS WORD, EXCEL, Access and Project
3. Current MN driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
4. Must be detailed, organized, independent and a team player
5. Knowledge/experience with the Native American Community/Culture
