Notes:
GL Accountant: This position, under moderate direction, oversees all GL functions, prepares monthly journal entries, reconciles investment accounts on a monthly basis and maintains investment records. Reviews and closes the GL monthly. Prepares monthly internal financial statements. Provides assistance in the preparation of the annual operating budget. Prepares all payroll related tax reports. Prepares the annual tax return (Form 990). Assists the Director of Accounting during audits.
Grants Accountant:Works closely with department managers who have state/federal grants or contracts, ensuring that the financial reporting of the grants and contracts is accurate. Prepares quarterly financial reports for all state and federal grants to the granting agencies as required. Prepares monthly journal entries. Assists the Director of Accounting during audits.
