Curtis L. Garner

Curtis L. Garner was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He completed undergraduate studies in Sociology at Brigham Young University and was recognized as Valedictorian of his class. Curt received his Juris Doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU and was employed with the law firm of Stump, Garner and Wright in California.

Curt returned to Utah as a Special Assistant to Governor Norman Bangerter in 1989. He remained in that position until being appointed to the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole in August, 1992.

Curt became Chairman of the Board of Pardons in May 2007.
