The Air Force chief of staff announces the assignment of the following general officer:
 
Brig. Gen. James M. Kowalski, deputy director, global operations, J-39, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., to commander, Air Force Global Strike Command (provisional), Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.
