Abstract:

This newsletter discusses outreach efforts that target people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). It provides examples of effective engagement and retention services from the Whitman-Walker Clinic (Washington, DC), the Brothers Saving Brothers project (Detroit, MI), and CareLink (Portland, OR). The newsletter explains the fundamentals for building partnerships that link PLWHA who are not receiving care to the HIV/AIDS service system. It includes figures and references.
