Thanks for accepting our Summer Reading Challenge

Governor and First Lady Huntsman reading

Dear Children and Families,

Thank you for accepting our challenge to read over your summer vacation. As we have read the response cards listing your comments, we know that you have had a wonderful adventure in reading and learning to love to read.

Your summer reading makes a difference, because practice makes perfect. The more you read, the better your reading skills and comprehension will be. Reading will also help you to be a better writer.

Continue to read during this school year and you will notice a great increase in your subject areas. Always take a book with you in the car, read to a younger sibling, go to the library and check out books that interest you.

Congratulations on meeting the challenge! Kids who read succeed!
