CDC's Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity Fruits & Veggies: More Matters State Legislative Information Database. This searchable database contains bill information from all 50 states related to specific topics and subtopics. The database contains information from 2001 and is updated quarterly.
We Can! or "Ways to Enhance Children's Activity & Nutrition" is a national education program developed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to help prevent childhood obesity in youth ages 8–13. We Can! focuses on programs and activities for parents and families as a primary group for influencing youth. The program provides turn-key resources and programs for parents, caregivers, and youth to encourage healthy eating, increase physical activity, and reduce screen time. Non-Federal Web Sites*Alliance for a Healthier Generation Data Resource Center for Child and Adolescent Health. This site allows users to search and display charts and tabular findings from individual survey items as well as child health measures derived from these data sources. The site displays state profiles, rankings, and information for key demographic groups. Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network National Conference of State Legislatures National Food Service Management Institute National School Boards Association School Health Resource Database. This database contains nearly 3,000 items, including sample policies, articles, and training tools, that address issues facing local school districts related to the health of youth, including nutrition.
